The Project 25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG) met via Web on Thursday September 26 3:00 PM Eastern for the Annual Meeting. The Meeting was hosted by: Stephen Nichols, PTIG Executive Director; Brad Stoddard, PTIG Chairman; Cheryl Giggetts, PTIG Treasurer.

A Board of Directors and Officers was unanimously elected for the coming year 2024-2025.  Stephen Nichols was retained as PTIG Executive Director.

 PTIG Year in Review by Stephen Nichols:

Renewed growth and interest for Project 25 was evident over the last year. There is broad acceptance that P25 and LMR will remain the primary PTT communications technology for Government, Public Safety, Military, and Critical Infrastructure users for the next decade or more. P25 remains the primary Standard for Government and Public Safety LMR in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Our PTIG Mission continues with the development and sharing of information about P25 Standards, Benefits, Interoperability, Applications, and Market.
