The Project 25 (P25) Link Layer Encryption (LLE) Informational Session provides viewers a greater understanding of how LLE will work upon completion of the LLE P25 Standard and how it will interface with current P25 land mobile radio (LMR) systems. The informational session provides a roadmap for public safety users around the development of the LLE P25 standard, how LLE will work to protect the security of P25 LMR systems, and a high-level overview of this emerging technology.
